UPCOMING EVENT

 Trek Banner for Site.jpg

Tergar Charity Nepal is excited to offer a trek to Rinpoche’s birthplace during which all participants will receive meditation guidance from Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche and a Tergar International facilitator. Rinpoche will also teach in Samagaon and we will have several day trips in the area.

This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in a meditation practice program while experiencing the beauty and grandeur of the Himalayas. All proceeds from this trek will go to support Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche’s education activities in Nubri Valley.

Space is limited to ensure exceptional service and a personalized meditation experience for all participants involved in this unique outing. For those of you who are unable to join the group trekking up to Nubri Valley with Rinpoche, you have the opportunity to fly in and out via helicopter. (Check our website for cost & itinerary)

Cost for Trekking: US$3300/per person (double occupancy)

Camping in comfort in the Himalayas with Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche. An experience of a lifetime!

On this meditation journey, we will be camping each night. While that might sound like roughing it, but it’s a fantastic opportunity to be closer to the nature for an extraordinary experience rest assured that camping on this trip is more comfortable, less crowded, and more hygienic than staying in local teahouses.

In addition to fresh, delicious vegetarian meals made just for our group, our incredible support staff will provide a 2-person tent (double occupancy). Each person will have an air mattress and a pillow. Each morning, our support team will deliver a hot cup of coffee or tea to your tent, followed by a large bowl of hot water for personal cleaning. We will also have a toilet tent and a shower tent in our campsite.
